we just love it badly

went to Yet Con at Purvis Street for chicken rice.
as usual, bad service.
people go there because the food is good.
so they bear with the bad serivce.
we too.

in london chinatown, near leicester street,
chinese restuarants flood the place.
we used to always go to this place called "1997".
good food, bad service.
always crowded.

what is the theory behind?

blobbes said...: IMHO, here's how it works: first the food HAS to be good and the experience cannot be found elsewhere i.e. there may well be alternatives that are just as good but not quite the same. then if the service is uniformly bad i.e. everyone gets the same awful treatment, you just consider it part of the unique experience of eating at whatever place this is, shrug it off and EAT!!!! my two cents' worth ;); 8:57 AM
