another few more hours we'll be on the flight back from Melbourne.
first to Bangkok then to singapore -- thanks to alex booking a roundabout trip cos it's cheaper, but a whole lot of time more on flight. :(
(just using up my minutes on this money-eating computer online in the hotel --AUS$2 evert 15 mins!!!)
It's been strange coming to Melbourne again after 18 years. how time flies! scary! it has been 18 years!
weather is nice, great summer sun and nice crisp breeze.... will be perfect if not for all the annoying flies in your face. too much of them.
had been sick during the first 3 days and was just sleeping or wondering around aimlessly alone while Alex was at his conference. what a holiday, just slack and eat and sleep and watch TV and scold the flies.
but that is HOLIDAY!
a bit upsetting checking work emails just now. sigh. having to be back to reality and WORK is not a good feeling. you feel sick. I am definitely not energised enough. Never enough. NEVER.
was nice to see Jas and the two monster kiddies here! We actually met up twice in this short time Freya with her non-stop story-telling and tales about her imaginery boyfriend, Rubber; and Aeson, just being his sweet seeet self. He is so cute, speak like a little kitty, even though he aspire to be a train engine, and yes, Thomas is his idol for sure! They were equally happy to see us as Jas mentioned, there haven't been anyone they knew here to visit them since. Hope to see them back in Singapore some time soon too.
Puffing Billy is also a great highlight for this trip.
Going to see if I can catch the ferris wheel.
