madness business.
finally the O levels art exams is OVER!
so i won't talk about it anymore, till next year.
my desk had once again, been neglected by me.
everyday i walked into the staff room but never sat at my desk for more than 15 mins in total for the whole day i am in school.
work has been extra tiring. more tiring than actual teaching days.
minister from UAE is coming and the whole school is preparing for this,
on top of taking care of the O levels exam, CCA
and working on SEM.
it's mad mad mad.
we went home each day, half-dead
came back the next day more dead.
as good as zombie, only worse, as we still have to pretend to smile.
what life.
on the brighter side,
art room has been cleaned, 80% and thanks to dear kelvin, the art box has been swept and mopped. we are all glad.

pop by at PKW for the BA show. congrats to my dear friends serene, serenah, ade, likeng, swee eem, finosh. the Dozen show. i only knew the 1/2 dozen. if i have joined them 2 years ago, it won't be called a Dozen then :)
and i saw her.
in front of ade's work.
the tiny boxes with the reading light shinning on the shapes.
but we didn't talk.
then i saw her.
outside the toilet.
we hugged and it was real and we talked and she took a pic of me.
and end.

met up with k.mcgee for Deepavali at Reddy's place.
it's been 6 or 7 years since i last saw him.
i asked how long he is staying.
he said 'couple of hours'.
he lasted more than that.
saw him 2 days later for dinner.
he and A discussed about what goes grossly well with vanilla milk shake.
it was their favorite conversation while i was 30 mins late.
he filled me in about his work, about the evaluation of PHD, about why he is back here again.
he asked what i want to do after next year.
7 years ago before he left, he sat me down and asked me the same question.
i was clearer with my intention then.
he remembered me as the catalyst of the enginneers' office.
my L-shaped desk at the door of the office area-lobby,
my music playing like nobody's business,
and it became everyone's business.
"i've always told people, you came, and the guys started to walk out of their offices and communicate".
wow, i didn't know.
