my vietnamese student, Vic's parents, came to visit and insisted to meet up with us for dinner. A very warm couple with friendly smiles and great sincerity. We can't bring ourselves to turn down their invitation. It was a lovely evening where we'd enjoyed the delicious Vietnamese dishes and had a great time for more than 2 hours! Even though his parents do not speak English, and we do not speak their language, all of us have a wonderful time.
beautiful and tasty salad that not only brings out the flavour, but also the colours of the four seasons.
Vic's mom insisted to wrap the dish for us. honestly, it really tasted differently with skilful wrapping. she fed us non-stop.
after an hour of eating, we are just at our 3rd out of 7 or 8 dishes.
this yummy dessert has everything an elephant loves -- peanuts and bananna!
