sometimes i really think i am back to square one...there does not seem to be any progress in my life at all...at least i dun see it...
well, soon you'll be getting your BA in art education... it's there... why would you be back to square one? :)
i guess, it's the same ol' things all the time...i hate people in school and they hate me...i dun need everyone to understand my perspectives on art and things...but they are always worshipping the grounds that serene lin shat on...i am not jealous...rather i am angry that serene's got all these misconceptions on things especially in terms of art, and she misleads those stupid people, taking in as truth...they chose it...i feel angry when they tried to argue with me without logical and objective opinions...sometimes, i think it is entirely a waste of time to even go to school..time wasted on listening to a bunch of morons...they simply belittle me, my work, my intelligence..my life...my entire existence...i wish they will all die....do i really have to step out to the 'real' art world to show when i can't even convict those bunch of morons what art is???
perspectives on art is so subjective. you agree with some, you disagree with others. why compare yourself with serene's? if your objective is to do something you strongly believe in, and it doesn't hurt anyone, it doesn't really matter if your theory is able to convince others or not. I always believe it's the process that matters most. stressing too much on the outcome is just putting an end to your creativity and thoughts. you'd stop thinking because you'd think that's a finished piece of work. :)
u see, the thing here is that they've hurt me...they hurt me with their ill-informed perspectives...take for instance this: someone asked what lithography is at the STPI. i said it is stone etching...then, someone answered, "serene said it is plastic...so long as there is negative-positive spaces..." everyone took it as it is...without considering that i could be right...without considering to enquire from the printers over at STPI...without consideration to ask the printmaking lecturer, Ce. i know this is stupid...but i guess it is accumulated...
at times people do learn better through mistakes. let them discover the truth later by themselves. No point forcing them to believe you now, and no point fussing over their ignorance. :)
:)
i'll try to control my outbursts...
